Fantastic Mr Chris of Brisbane Modern has been so kind to give us here at MA a late Christmas present in the form of Australian Home Beautiful magazines stretching from April 1951 to May 1961. Only the briefest of flicks has revealed gems on every page, from the full page ads for casement windows, design reviews on the latest Pye transistor radios to feature articles on magnificent Modernist Australian homes, not presently on any heritage radar.
