Taking a cue from Ed Klein and his wonderful Insta, lets look at repurposing. We’ve posted the odd (and yes, they’re are mostly odd) public or club buildings before which deserve a second chance, most obviously as a residence. Here is one in the later-modern-church category, constructed in materials which inspires architectural foray, concrete brick and expanses of hardwood and which would cost a bomb these days to build new. Nestled amid the breathtaking wilds of small town Tasmania this one is ripe for the plucking (indeed most of the joints in this one horse burg, modernist or not, could make a nice little project). Maybe the whole town could use some new blood and a chance at transformation?
